Documentation &Testing

Proper testing and documentation of the installed cabling system is often an overlooked task. At BroadNetworx, we do not consider the project complete until all cables are completely tested, and their results documented for the customer.

Labeling of each cable, outlet, and patch panel / punch down field is also something we take very seriously, and take pride in. It cannot be stressed enough that proper labeling through EIA/TIA standards is key to a professional installation.

The ability to simplify future moves, adds, or changes, as well as simplifying troubleshooting situations, hinges on the existence of a properly labeled and documented cable plant. Updated “as-built” drawings, indicating all workstation outlet locations complete with their cable number(s), is provided upon request as part of BroadNetworx’s core cabling services.
